For the music lover, one is sure to want to take part in the world renowned Sidmouth FolkWeek, held in August of each year. Here folk artists from around the world come together for a week of fun. To the the downright strange, Devon events even go as far as bug hunting events or, if you dare, a sleepover with the sharks. Each year, the town of Blackawton hosts an annual "Worm Charming Festival" whereby they use temptations (often of the libation variety) to lure as many worms out of the ground as possible in the alloted amount of time. Never fear, though this event is very strange, worms are rarely harmed, and upon the conclusion of the event, they are returned back from where they came.
