Durham House is one of the oldest and most attractive bed and breakfast properties in Beer. We are centrally located in the village square, just a stone´s throw from the beach. With eight lovely bedrooms, all with en suite facilities or private bathroom, colour televisions, hairdryers and hospitality trays, as well as a beautiful dining room complete with stained glass windows and high vaulted ceiling, Durham House offers a high standard of accommodation. Our aim is simple: to provide great accommodation and lovely breakfasts in a relaxed and friendly environment - all at competitive rates. Guest Rooms
Durham House has eight lovely guest rooms, all furnished to a very high standard. They are spacious, light and exceptionally clean. Each one is decorated in natural tones and feature beautiful antique pine furniture, en suite facilities or private bathroom, colour televisions, hairdryers, hospitality trays and an information pack detailing local activities, attractions and places to eat. All rooms are situated on the first or second floors and offer the flexibility of double, twin or family accommodation.

Breakfasts
One of the most common remarks in our visitors’ book is that we provide a brilliant breakfast – and we think it is one of the most important features of a stay with us. We not only use top quality local produce, but also cook it with a strong emphasis on healthy eating. Our breakfast menu consists of a selection of fruit juices, then grapefruit segments, cereal or muesli and finally, a choice of Full English, vegetarian or continental breakfast options.
