Hudson’s Bay Self Catering Holiday Apartments are located in the popular Devon resort of Paignton, at the heart of the English Riviera, embracing Dartmouth, Brixham and Torquay. Janet & Roy look forward to extending you a warm welcome to our family run quality self catering holiday accommodation. We are delightfully situated in a quiet level position just off the sea front close to Paignton´s sandy beach, harbour and town centre. The railway and coach stations are conveniently situated within easy reach.

Hudson´s Bay is the ideal base to visit Torbay´s many attractions at any time of year. During the summer months, it offers the ideal location for a family holiday on the beach, and throughout the year, you can visit the many attractions, enjoy the peace and quiet of the many secluded coves, coast path walks and savour the lovely tea rooms, cafes and restaurants.

All of Hudson’s Bay Self Catering Holiday Apartments have separate bedrooms and bathrooms and are maintained and cleaned to an exceptionally high standard. We experience a high level of repeat bookings, so early booking is highly recommended.

THE APARTMENTS

The Level Decking (Ground Floor)
The Level Decking has its own private entrance to the lounge area and separate kitchen, bedroom with double bed, lounge/dining area, fully fitted bathroom with shower cubicle and heater, central heating. Easy access to gardens and seafront. Sleeps 2.

The Anchor (Ground Floor)
The Anchor has garden views and direct access to Torbay Gardens. There is one large bedroom with double bed and pine bunk beds, plus space to accommodate extra guests on the sofa bed if required. There is a large lounge with dining area, kitchen with own private entrance, which opens out into the garden, fully fitted bathroom with shower cubicle and heater and central heating. Sleeps 2 - 4.

The Admiral’s Quarters (First Floor)
The Admiral’s Quarters is bright and sunny with a large bay window offering sea views. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed and there is space to accommodate one extra guest if required. The apartment also includes a lounge with dining area, kitchen and fully fitted bathroom with shower and heater. Sleeps 2 - 4.

The Riggings (First Floor)
The Riggings enjoys superb views of Torbay Gardens and also offers sea views from the one large bedroom which features a double bed and a single bed. The lounge has a bed settee to accommodate additional guest if required. There is also a dining area, kitchen and fully fitted bathroom with shower, bath and heater. Sleeps 2 - 4.

The Look Out (Second Floor)
The Look Out has the added attraction of fantastic park and sea views. There is one large bedroom containing a double bed and bunk beds, plus washbasin. The apartment has a lounge with dining area, kitchen and fully fitted bathroom with shower, bath and heater. Sleeps 2 - 4.

The Crow’s Nest (Second Floor)
The Crow’s Nest is south facing with sea views. There is one bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom. The lounge has a bed settee to accommodate extra guest if required and there is a dining area and kitchen. Sleeps 2 - 3.

Each apartment is fully equipped with full size electric cooker, fridge, microwave, colour television with digital freeview.

  •  All apartments are cleaned and maintained to a very high standard
  • There are no wall beds
  • Beds are made up for your arrival
  • Please bring your own kitchen & wash towels, or they can be hired if you so wish
  • Electricity is metered
  • All apartments are heated by electric radiators and there is central heating on the ground floor
  • There are ironing facilities on each floor
  • Free wireless internet connection
  • Parking is available at the front of the building, with one space allocated for each apartment
  • Apartments are usually available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure
  • Free use of our small stock of books, umbrellas, buckets, spades and fishing nets
  • For the comfort and safety of all our guests, we do not allow smoking or pets in the apartments
