Situated 8 miles south of Exeter off the A379 (near Powderham Castle) half a mile from the village of Starcross on the Exe Estuary. A pleasant walk to the village alongside part of the river, where you will find 2 pubs serving good food, fish and chip shop, restaurant, large shop, chemist, Post Office, rail station, bus stop and passenger ferry to Exmouth.


Also 3 slipways for launching small boats and Starcross Fishing and Cruising Club (Clubhouse for Members) and 9 hole golf course. Coarse fishing 3 miles away and nice sandy beach 2.5 miles, Racecourses at Exeter and Newton Abbot.

Historic city of Exeter - discover the underground passages, Cathedral and excellent shopping! (Park and Ride). Close to Dartmoor National Park - ponies, scenery etc and close to some National Trust properties. Miles of beautiful coastline to explore. MANY TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN THE AREA.

We have one en-suite double room, one standard double and one standard twin room. All rooms TV, tea-making and hand basins.
