The Old School Guest House is a beautiful 19th century schoolhouse built in 1875 and renovated to provide luxury accommodation and fine locally sourced food in our fully licensed restaurant and bar. Located within Dartmoor National Park in the picturesque village of Horrabridge, The Old School Guest House is the perfect base from which to explore Dartmoor National Park, local towns and villages either by car, on foot, horse or bike.

The award-winning market town of Tavistock and its famous Pannier Market is close by (4 miles) and Plymouth town centre is only 10 miles.

Enjoy local walks or a few rounds of golf at the local golf clubs, or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery on our doorstep.

We are also pleased to provide guests the facility of a new Sony 40" LCD and DVD player in the guest lounge - Digital TV for everyone´s pleasure! Superb picture! Superb sound!

French doors lead to the garden and patio area where guests may relax and enjoy the views.

We can also offer self catering accommodation in our 2-bedroom cottage, ´The Teacher´s Retreat´. If guests prefer not to cook, they may choose to eat in our main restaurant.
