Approached via a private driveway, The White House, which was built in 1994, has fine views over its own large private gardens, the village church spire and rolling countryside. The large long established gardens are truly delightful and well stocked with a variety of mature shrubs and mature trees. Also on site is the Mediterranean style enclosed heated outdoor pool area which is a wonderful suntrap patio area with log style cabin with shower. There is also a half sized football pitch and fenced all weather basketball area. For the less energetic, the higher field is planted with mixed young woodland and has some meandering paths cut through the grasses ideal for walkers. The property is right on the fringe of the vibrant village which is a conservation area, and includes a post office, general store and a popular pub serving good food, all within 2 minutes walk. The house is 2 miles from the motorway and a station on the mainline London/Midlands routes and is a perfect base for touring the whole of the West Country. There are some lovely beaches and sheltered coves within a forty minute drive as well as attractions to suit all tastes which include historic Exeter, numerous National Trust properties and Gardens, Crealy Devon, Tiverton Castle and more. In the evenings, simply relax with some wine in the rear courtyard and enjoy a BBQ by the super circular seating area with a thatched roof ideal for all year round entertaining.

The accommodation offers SEVEN bedrooms: 1 master king size bedroom with luxury en-suite bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and WC. 1 double with en-suite bathroom with shower over and WC. 1 further double and 3 twin bedrooms. Family luxury bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and WC. There is a further downstairs twin. Separate WC and walk in shower also downstairs. Family kitchen/breakfast room with Aga, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Utility with cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Drawing room with feature stone fireplace with large LCD TV, DVD and Freeview. Second lounge/dining area adjacent to kitchen with TV and gas fire leading to sun room, perfect for entertaining. Garage area with pool table and washer/dryer. Enclosed gardens and enclosed swimming pool area (Pool heated from beginning April to end of September and cleaned on Friday mornings). Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Pets welcome. Beach 20 miles, pub and shops walking distance. Please note that the pool cleaners and gardener will be at the property on Fridays. Arrival time 3pm.
